Defensa y Justicia has confirmed the return of Julio Vaccari as the new head coach of the club following Mariano Soso's departure. This announcement was made on Sunday and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Halcón in the second half of 2026. Vaccari, who previously managed Defensa y Justicia from 2022 to 2024, returns with the aim of revitalizing the team after a disappointing Apertura. During his previous tenure, Vaccari oversaw a total of 88 matches, achieving 38 wins, 28 draws, and 22 losses. His experience as an assistant to Gabriel Heinze and training alongside Marcelo Bielsa have been crucial in his coaching career. The club's management is confident that Vaccari can replicate the success of his prior stint and improve the team's image in Liga Profesional. The Halcón, which has had a challenging start to the season, hopes that Vaccari's return will bring a positive change and lead them to compete at the top of the table.
